I bear in mind driving over a mountain with my mom, she was within the
passenger seat and we have been being mauled and cuddled and battered and
fried by sound; collectively. We have been collectively experiencing one thing
beforehand unimaginable, and we have been going through the identical path, and we
have been transferring by means of area and time realizing geographic
vacation spot a way forward would convey an finish. And the sound
surrounded us, and for as soon as our mutual silence was loaded with good.
As a result of we have been within the presence of one another, and we knew a lot
about how we had failed one another (it wasn’t a thriller any extra), and
we knew how we had maimed others once we fearful an excessive amount of about
ourselves, how we had contributed to the faults of others just by
focusing in as an alternative of out. Our mutual silences have been laden with what
that might solely be known as love. I used to listen to love in music till I
realized to listen to love in sound.
